Jimmy Kimmel: Veteran NBA Players
It’s Game Night four for Jimmy Kimmel. Kimmel has been having special primetime shows during the NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs. Tonight’s game, which is game four, is in Miami and game five is going to be in San Antonio. Kimmel talked about the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs. He said that there are a lot of veterans on these teams and that you can tell that there are a lot of veterans because “it takes them a month to get an appointment with the doctor.” I really liked that one. It was such a smart joke. It was really funny and was an unexpected place for Kimmel to go with it.

Not only is it a big day for basketball, it’s also a big day for soccer. The World Cup started today in Brazil. Kimmel doesn’t seem to like soccer that much though. He said that watching soccer is like “watching 22 people exercise for three hours.” I guess that’s true. It’s also hard for the teams to score in soccer. A lot of the time it ends up being tied at zero. “We just aren’t programmed for that sort of thing in the United States. We demand points. It’s why we love Weight Watchers,” Kimmel said. That was great and so true. “We like points so much, we want to put them in our mouths and eat them,” he went on.
Jimmy Kimmel Live: What if the NBA was like the World Cup?
Kimmel wondered, “What if the NBA was like the World Cup?” and had a segment about it. He showed a video of a basketball game with announcers and a cheering crowd. There was an angry coach. Not much happened.

Jimmy Kimmel: Tim Duncan Spurs Mascot
Kimmel talked about how whenever the San Antonio Spurs center Tim Duncan feels he’s been wrongly fouled, he “suddenly transforms into an exact replica of the Spurs mascot.” He showed pictures of the two and it was so true! They looked exactly the same. It was hilarious. Did he make himself look like that on purpose?
