Tonight Show: Steve Carell The Incredible Burt Wonderstone
Funny man Steve Carell will stop by the Tonight Show to talk about his new movie coming out, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. The movie centers on the life of Burt Wonderstone, played by Carrell, who has a falling out with his longtime partner, played by Steve Buscemi, and has to figure out a way to deal with the stiff competition from a fellow magician played by Jim Carrey.
The movie, a comedy obviously, sees Carell sporting quite the head of hair along with some ridiculous costumes, a lot of chest hair and over-the-top magic tricks that are more disastrous than they are anything else.
But the best part of the movie, besides the costumes and hair (Jim Carrey has long, flowing locks in the movie), is watching the characters interact with each other. Carell said many of the takes were improvised. He said Buscemi is really good at improv and the two worked on pushing the script even further as they shot the scenes.
As for working with Jim Carrey, Carell said it wouldn’t matter if you did five takes or 100 takes, Jim Carrey is able to make them all different and all just as funny, allowing producers more material to work with when editing the film together.
Tonight Show: Steve Carell Not In The Office Finale
The final episode of The Office is set to air May 16 2013 and Steve Carrell is not going to be a part of it. Apparently he declined NBC’s invitation to return for the final episode of the show saying his exit from the show last year was fine.
Do you think they might be keeping his return under wraps? I think so. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
Tonight Show: Steve Carell Anchorman 2 Review
Anchorman 2 is coming to theaters soon, and Steve Carell said they have just cast Kristen Wigg to be a part of the movie. She is going to be playing Brick Tamland’s wife in the sequel. Although there is no word on how big of a role she might play or when the movie is set to release, you can at least rest assured the movie is going to be better than Anchorman.
