Prince William: Prince George First Photos & Practicing Car Seat

Prince William’s First Interview Since Birth of Prince George

In his first interview since becoming a father, Prince William is speaking to CNN about his son, how he and Catherine want to parent, and what it was like putting his son in the car for the first time, Today Show observed.

The new prince’s birth was an international affair. News crews stood outside for a month waiting for Kate to be admitted and hoping to get the coveted shot of her and Prince William walking in to the hospital. It’s a prime example of the life that William has always led. He’s been watched closely every moment of his life, but he managed to get his pregnant wife into St. Mary’s hospital unnoticed.

Today Show: Prince William Practiced Baby Car Seat

After staying by her side the entire way, William allowed the press about 10 minutes to meet with them and their bundle of joy. Prince George was introduced to the world, held safely in his father’s arms. Prince William then loaded up his family and drove them home.

He said that he practiced putting George’s car seat in before, so it went smoothly. Like any new dad, Wills was worried about jostling his son or dropping the car seat, Today Show reported.

Prince William & Catherine: Modern Royal Parenting

William and Catherine hope to be independent parents. He said in the interview, which will be released in its entirety soon, that they will parent differently than is expected while still holding to some of the Royal customs. On of those is keeping their children out of the spotlight as much as possible.

Today Show: Royal Family To Release Candid Pictures of Royal Baby Prince George

In order to have that level of privacy, William and Catherine must oblige the media. They will be releasing the first pictures of their baby this evening, August 19. While there will be the custom photos of George and the Royal Family, the new parents are rumored to be releasing candid shots taken in their home as well.

This is a smart move, in my opinion. Being a Royal Watcher, you want to give them privacy but also crave information about the family. Giving the public access to some candid images will definitely satiate the desires to look into their new family.
