The View: Cee Lo Green is Loberace & Returning to The Voice
Cee Lo Green is often seen wearing his crazy colors, dead muppets, and sunglasses, but he really looks best in basic black. Cee Lo has this beautifully expressive face and eyebrows that I hate seeing covered up.

Last season, Cee Lo and Christina Aguilera left The Voice after three successful seasons. He said it was preplanned that they would swap out with other musicians and return for the show’s fifth season. He and Christina are back for the fifth season of the show after Cee Lo spent some time doing a show in Las Vegas.
Cee Lo Green is Loberace was a hit in Las Vegas. He had showgirls that coordinated with his out of this world outfits. Loberace was a nod to Liberace’s glamour and he was given the blessing of the Liberace museum to take on the name and flashy costumes that brought Liberace attention.
Watching Usher turn around in his chair on The Voice was strange, but he thinks that Shakira and Usher did an amazing job. Cee Lo and Usher are both from Georgia, so he felt he was keeping it in the family.
Cee Lo’s Animal Obsession & Philanthropy
The one thing that was really missing on season four of The Voice was Purrrfect the cat, Cee Lo’s partner in crime. Green has many animals and works closely with an animal rescue unit to bring in animals and save them. He has birds, dogs, cats, and a boa constrictor. He said that the boa constrictor wouldn’t have been as welcome on The Voice as Miss Purrrfect.
The Goodie Mob Reunites, Age Against the Machine Album
Cee Lo and The Goodie Mob started back in 1991 and have reunited recently. He called it a family reunion coming back together. Age Against The Machine, their first album in 14 years, comes out August 27. He said the album title’s meaning is about using wisdom to better the balance in the music industry.
The Goodie Mob came out of Atlanta, same as TLC and Andre 3000. Cee Lo said that he considers his home base a “little big city.” They brought a lot of attention to Atlanta and he is proud to be a son of Georgia.
