The Doctors: Dangerous Pool Bacteria
Have you ever thought about how many people pee in the pool? According to a new poll, one in five American adults admit to doing it…regularly. That noise you just heard was the collective shudder of everyone who wanted to go swimming this summer. That’s just the number of adults. Think about all those children who don’t know better.
It turns out there’s a lot of dangerous bacteria in the pool, not just from urination, but from fecal matter on people’s bodies, or from bird droppings, or from dogs that go for a quick dip. The sources of the bacteria are endless. There’s a reason your mother told you to never drink the bath water. Now imagine that bath water being shared by 100 people. Bad news bears. You won’t want to swim after seeing The Doctors May 23, 2014. Nevertheless, be sure to check it out! These are dangers we all need to know about.
The Doctors: Swimmer’s Ear
The Doctors will also talk about a simple home remedy for soothing swimmer’s ear. Swimmer’s ear is an infection caused by prolonged water in the ear canal, aiding bacteria growth. The infection lives inside the outer ear canal, from the outside of your head to your ear drum. It’s a painful condition that can be incredibly irritating to the people suffering from it. The Doctors’ great home remedy will be something to have in your health arsenal this summer, especially if you have children. Tune into The Doctors May 23, 2014 to find out all about it!
