Today Show: Affordable Oscar Dresses
The Today Show loved some of the Oscar dresses so they much they went out and found some dresses that are similar to the dresses worn at the Oscars but are only a fraction of the price. From Kerry Washington’s beautiful coral colored dress to Halle Berry’s sequin explosion, the Today Show has all the best Oscar dresses for cheap.
Today Show: Amy Adams Oscar Dress For $250 At JCPenney

Amy Adams wore an Oscar De La Renta gown to the Academy Awards and she looked stunning. The lavender colored voluminous gown made it look like she was gliding around the red carpet. The ruffles on the skirt of the gown made her look fancy and feminine, said the Today Show. And they were able to find a dress that was pretty similar.
They found a Georgina Chapman Pearl Dress at JCPenney for only $250 that was almost a near match to Adams’ dress.
Today Show: Halle Berry Sequin Oscar Dress Doppelganger
The Today Show hosts loved Halle Berry’s Versace sequin dress so much that they knew they had to find one similar for a cheaper price.
After hunting around they found an Adriana Papell dress for $325 that had the same sequins as Berry’s dress along with horizontal and vertical sequences that really made the dress sparkle.
Today Show: Kerry Washington Coral Oscar Dress
Everyone fell in love with Kerry Washington’s coral dress for two major reasons, one being the beautiful color and the other being the embellished neckline. So the Today Show hunted for a dress that had both and found one on the dress rental site, Rent the Runway. For only $150 (the rental price), they found a feminine coral dress in the same style as Washington’s dress.
Today Show: Charlize Theron Oscar Dress For $349
Charlize Theron’s Oscar dress was one of the most talked about dresses at the Academy Awards because of the color, the fit and the flare from the skirt.
The Today Show had to pay more than they wanted, $349, for a dress from David’s Bridal but pointed out it was the perfect dress for a black tie event or even a wedding for a bride on a budget.
