Today Show: Slimming Swimsuits Take Up to Three Inches Off Figure
These swimsuits are seriously tough. After looking at over 200 swimsuits, only 22 were tested by Good Housekeeping. They went through rigorous testing with chlorine, sweat, stretch, abrasion and UV light resistance. These are proven to last your long pool side season and make you look fabulous.
Today: Chic Shaper Swimsuit Review
The Chic Shaper is ideal for any body type. Three models—petite, tall and athletic, and curvy—strutted the pool side runway on the plaza looking slim and comfortable. The dark navy suit has three cross panels that show off curves and give you a pop of fuchsia color. The Chic Shaper also has a tummy panel that sucks you in, but doesn’t leave you breathless. All three women were smiley and confident in their looks.
The think I like about this suit, being a curvy girl, is that it covers all the areas well. You aren’t falling out of a low cut top or popping out of a high cut side. It’s a good suit for lounging or swimming.
Today Show: How To Clean a Swimsuit
While you may think that running the suit through a rinse cycle or gentle wash is the way to keep it clean, the best way is to actually soak your bathing suit in a quart of pool water and add baking soda. Mix it around and hang to dry.
Today: The Curve Enhancer Swimsuit Review
This is a cute suit. For those ladies that like to look ladylike by the pool, but stay away from the skimpy suits, the Curve Enhancer does just what it’s name suggests. This bright pink suit has rouching that accentuates the curves and hides any rolls. It’s got a slightly higher side cut and a sweetheart neckline with thicker straps to keep you up.
This suit is ideal for sunbathing or coralling the kids at the pool. No one will dare to compare you to the soccer moms and your partner will really get the wowza affect. Top heavy? Not a problem with this suit. The girls will be contained and happy.
Today Show: The Cute Camouflager Swimsuit Review
Now that the busty girls are happy by the pool, what about the more athletic and petite types? All ladies want to look fab, and the Cute Camouflager is worth the splurge, testers said. At about $146, this suit will last you several seasons. The strapless suit is ideal for sunbathing and looking fly in the hot tub on vacation. You get the slimming tummy paneling and also a printed suit that shows off curves and hides unwanted areas. This suit, when tested, took up to 3 1/4 inches off of a waist line.
Today: Vintage Glam Swimsuit Review
This is probably my favorite suit. For the younger look, this suit has a lower neckline and really shows off curves well. It has a very low, almost covered, side cut which hides and pulls in the hips. It slims your tummy and this halter style is vintage with a kicked of modern printing.
