Today: Fan Picks Up Dave Matthews
Emily Kraut, a massive fan of the Dave Matthews Band, got the surprise of her life last week when she stopped to help out a stranded cyclist on the side of the road while, ironically enough, driving to see Dave Matthews in concert.
Why the irony? Well, as it turns out, the stranded cyclist happened to be Dave Matthews himself, whom she proceeded to drive to the concert. Dave Matthews proceeded to give Emily and her boyfriend backstage passes, thank them by name on stage, take them out for dinner. On her Facebook page, Emily said that her cheeks hurt from smiling so much throughout the night. It looks like her kindness paid off!

You might wonder why mosquitoes find you to be so delectable, and it turns out that this may be because up to 20 percent of us are more “desirable” to mosquitoes than other people. Well, believe it or not, wearing floral perfume will not make you more desirable to mosquitoes, nor will having black hair. However, things like having foot odor, type “O” blood, drinking beer, or being out on a night with a full moon make you more likely to be bitten.
Today: Matt Harvey Not Recognized By Biggest Fans
Matt Harvey recently got a lot of attention for posing nude in ESPN Magazine, but still remains unknown to a lot of people. On Jimmy Fallon’s show, Matt Harvey walked around New York interviewing people about himself, watching as they referred to Matt Harvey as if he wasn’t already standing in front of them.
Many people either didn’t ever catch on that they were standing right next to Matt, or not until he had given the person a pretty hefty hint that they were already talking to him. Thankfully, Matt didn’t allow his ego to be damaged, and was a pretty good sport about it the entire time.
