Today Show: Waterfall Swing Review
The Today Show had a waterfall swing set up in front of the studio today but none of the co-hosts wanted to take a ride on the contraption for fear of getting soaking wet. The waterfall swing works by turning water on when the person is swinging forwards and backwards but the water turns off just as the person is swinging beneath the middle, where the water spills out of a contraption on top of the swing, essentially keeping the swinger dry.
The swing was made by Dash 7 Design, a design company that said they wanted to create something they could take with them to festivals, and they knew a swing with a waterfall feature was the first thing they wanted to build. It took them awhile though. The team who built the waterfall swing said it took a lot of time and a lot of soaking wet clothes to get the calibrations just right.
Savannah Guthrie and Matt Lauer took their turns on the swing but they weren’t too happy about getting some water on them.
Today Show: Hugh Dancy Hannibal Review
Hannibal is hitting the TV screen tonight and Hugh Dancy is playing the role of Will Graham, a police detective with a sixth sense that allows him to think just like a violent murderer would. The show is a prequel to Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal Lecter is still a psychiatrist who befriends Graham to work with him on his sixth sense.
Hannibal has been getting a lot of great reviews from critics across the board, with one calling it the best drama on NBC ever. You can tune in to the premiere of the show tonight, April 4 2013 on NBC.
