Today Show: Angelina Jolie Gets Personal
Before this year, movie star Angelina Jolie hadn’t been in a movie since 2010. The star will be in two films released this year, and did a recent interview with Elle Magazine. In her interview, Angelina Jolie talked about something she normally keeps quiet about – her personal life. Jason Kennedy reports.

As one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, it can sometimes be hard to believe that Angelina Jolie ever has any doubts or fears. However, she revealed that she’s very afraid of living a half-life. Angelina Jolie said, “I realized that very young that a life where you don’t live to your full potential, or you don’t experiment or you’re afraid, or you hesitate is a life that I’d be miserable living.” I think we can all relate to that statement on some level.

Angeline Jolie also admitted that her life hasn’t turned out the way she thought it would. Apparently, she never thought she’d have children, be in love, or meet the right person. However, through her relationship with Brad Pitt, she feels challenged and inspired. But if you’re on the edge of your seat waiting for a wedding between the two, don’t get your hopes up too high, because Angelina Jolie said they often forget they’re even engaged!
Today Show: New Movies for Angelina Jolie
Angelina Jolie stars in the new movie Maleficent, which comes out May 30 2014. The film is based on the evil villain from the classic tale Sleeping Beauty, and many of Angelina Jolie’s children make appearances in the film. Her daughter Vivienne plays a very young Sleeping Beauty, but when Angelina Jolie asked her daughter Shiloh if she’d like to play the part of the princess, she laughed in her face! Regardless, Angelina Jolie loved working with her children and Vivienne clung to her on set.
