Gwyneth Paltrow, one of Hollywood’s most gorgeous women, has revealed some of her secrets to living healthy while still allowing yourself some wiggle room where diet is concerned. The mother of two recently spilled the beans on her lean physique in an article that she wrote for Britain’s The Daily Telegraph.

At the top of Paltrow’s list of suggestions was to stay away from processed foods and stick to fresh ones. Her doctor also has her go on a cleanse diet periodically, but you have to make sure you’re using the right one. She talks in the article about going on the cleanse diet in her 20s and hallucinating after 10 days. She also said that juice diets can crash your metabolism and lead to future weight gain.
Paltrow has written two cookbooks and is a self-professed foodie, but she has stemmed the tide of any potential weight gain by working out every weekday at the same time. For her, exercise comes almost as a reflex.

Though she seems to be a model of health, Paltrow admits in the article to allowing herself a few indulgences. She allows herself a glass of wine in the evening and smokes a cigarette on Saturdays. She says those are her favorite moments because they are just the right amount of naughty.
Ultimately, she thought that it was all about balance. Needless to say, experts think she is spot on with everything but the cigarettes.
