Kathie Lee and Hoda, with the help of Louis Licari, Today Show contributor and stylist to the stars, as well as Jill Martin, Today Show contributor and contributing editor for People Stylewatch, gave two southern belles the makeover of a lifetime.

Christine Banks is a 47-year-old married mom of three of Jasper, Alabama. She is a registered nurse and she was looking for a practical new look that would boost her confidence. She said she needed a makeover as she talked to Jill Martin wearing an Alabama jersey and sweatpants.

After her three-hour makeover, she came out with a new bob haircut and a nautical style dress, looking almost unrecognizable. Even her daughter was shocked to tears.

Louis said she wasn’t even the same woman, and made her hair look more modern with a haircut and soft side-swept bangs. He also dyed it a dark auburn color. Jill said she’s a fan of anything with pockets, so she put Christine in a Maggy London dress.

Cindy is a school superintendent from Holland, Texas is 55-years-old who was in desperate need of a modern professional makeover.

She was wearing jeans, a t-shirt, and a zip-up hoodie and said she just cut and colored her hair for the first time last year. She walked out sporting a new light, feathery haircut and said she doesn’t even look like the same person.

Louis explained that he used a layered haircut to add fullness and then brought up the length of her hair. Jill chose another Maggy London dress with a faux wrap.
