Kathie Lee & Hoda: Back-To-School Trends For Kids

If you want to help your kids step out in style this September, you are going to have to learns the ABCs of what’s hot and what’s not. Kathie Lee and Hoda were joined by Amy Goodman, Editor-At-Large at Coastal Living Magazine and author of Wear This, Toss That!, as she shared fall fashion trends for kids, including Stinky McGee Necktie, Joe’s Jeans and H&M Puffy Vest review.

Charm School: Stinky McGee Necktie Review

For her: Checkered Dress from Target. Amy said the shoes are little dressy for school and she could even wear black sneakers.

For him: Shirt and Pants from H&M, Blazer from Burlington Coat Factory for under $15 and Pink Plaid Necktie for $28 from Stinky McGee. Amy said the pants are the hot yellow trend, which you will see a lot of. An adorable ensemble with English-inspired clothes. It is a big trend for kids.

Print Patrols: Joe’s Jeans Review

For him: Arizona Sweater for $10 from JC Penney or Tony Hawk T-Shirt for $16 from Kohls. Amy said plaid and stripes work together with a common color red. When you do layers for kids, make that bottom layer the softest thing you have.

For her: Joe’s Jeans Leopard Jeggings for $59 from Joe’s Jeans and Leopard Vest from Marshalls for $9.99. Amy said to pair neutral prints with the leopard prints.

Mod Squad: H&M Puffy Vest Review

For her: Mod Color-Block Dress for $29 from Tea Collection. Amy said they added some sparkle with the backpack and headband.

For him: H&M Puffy Vest for $14.95 from H&M. Amy said it is yellow again and to look for the neon trend in shoes this fall.

Globe Trotters: North Face Review

For her: Jersey Dress for $34 from Boden USA. Amy said she wished they made the dress for adults and it is so sweet with Parisian landmarks on it.

For him: North Face Blue Jacket for $48.75 from Shop It To Me and Beanie Hat for under $6 from Burlington Coat Factory. Amy said he is showing us how to wear shirts and shorts all the way into the fall.

Rock N’ Roll: Princess Vera Wang Collection Review

Blue Knit Dress for $9.99 and Leather Jacket for $24.99 from Marshalls. Amy said she has some ankle boots and as the weather gets cooler throw some tights or leggings on.

Jean Vest and Tank Top and Peacock Green-colored jeans is the it color for the season and looks great on everyone. Amy said she is in head-to-toe Princess Vera Wang Collection, a new line at Kohl’s. The jean vest is versatile for the season and you can substitute a long-sleeve shirt for the tank top.
