Kathie Lee & Hoda: Mariah Carey Surprise Subway Ride
Mariah Carey is getting some attention after she showed up on the subway, according to Kathie Lee & Hoda.
Mariah was being honored at the Fresh Air Fund Gala and decided to take the subway that night. To prove it, she documented her tip on video. She’s seen all dressed up for the event, wearing a down and sunglasses. The subway was pretty empty because of how late it was, and she got off on Franklin Street.
It’s possible that the trip was just an attempt to get attention for her new album, Me. I Am Mariah. The album isn’t doing as well as her other albums did in the past.

Kathie Lee & Hoda: Gwyneth Paltrow Under Fire for War Comment
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow has recently found herself in a little bit of controversy after speaking at a technology event, discussing how sometimes people say mean things to her online and comparing it to war.
“It’s almost like how, in war, you can go through this bloody, dehumanizing thing, and then something is defined out of it,” she said.
First class sergeant Bryan Sikes spoke out online by saying “you know what is really ‘dehumanizing,’ Miss Paltrow? The fact that you’d even consider that your life as an ‘a-list’ celebrity reading internet comments could even compare to war and what is endured on the battlefield.”
He went into further detail about losing friends right in front of his eyes. The sergeant also broke his neck in Afghanistan, proving that nothing is comparable to war.
