Kathie Lee & Hoda talked about the Julia Child Autotune YouTube video for her 100th birthday and the Marvin Hamlisch memorial service.
Kathie Lee attended the memorial service of Marvin Hamlisch. He was a great composer who wrote music to The Chorus Line and many other shows. At the time he attended, he was the youngest person to ever go to Julliard.
Kathie Lee ran from work to the service and right after she got there and President Bill Clinton was speaking her cell phone goes off. She apologized to everyone in attendance.

On the August 14 2012 show, Kathie Lee and Hoda talked about Ryan Lochte and peeing in the pool. The fans took to their Facebook page and 75% admitted to peeing in the pool.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: The Bird Man on AGT
Clint Carvalho, known as The Bird Man, appeared on America’s Got Talent. He stands on the stage of AGT and his bird is caged 150 feet away, high up on some building and outside and will somehow fly down at 85 mph and find his way to the stage. Kathie Lee said they left the door open for the bird. If he would have opened the door then she would have been impressed. So, the bird comes to his call? How is this a talent?

Julia Child would have been 100 years old on August 15 2012. There was a Julia Child YouTube video made where they used a bunch of her clips to make a music video and auto-tuned it. Also celebrating birthdays soon are Kathie Lee, who will be 59 and her husband Frank Gifford who will be 82, both on August 16 2012.

The ladies did segments before where they did their dream jobs for a day. Kathie Lee worked with the Kitchen Cousins and her episode will be airing on August 15 2012 on HGTV at 8:30 p.m. EST. Also, Kathie Lee will be appearing on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on August 15 2012.
