Kathie Lee Gifford said there are two trends going on right now: people dropping their pants/flashing nipples and cannibalism. Alec Baldwin, to show off his weight loss, went on Late Show with David Letterman and dropped his drawers. Kathie Lee said after a certain age, no one wants to see your hairy legs.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Bus Monitor Bullied
Students at an upstate New York school bullied Karen Klein, a 68-year-old school bus monitor. The bullying was caught on camera and it went viral on June 20 2012.
They called her everything from fat to more profanity-laced taunts. The faces of the children were blurred out, but the identity of the children is known. Kathie Lee said that the children and their parents should be held accountable and to teach your children to do the right thing.
A fund was started for Karen Klein, to possibly raise $5,000 to send her on a dream vacation and so far they have raised $142,000…good for them!
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Sidewalk Art Criminal
A Denver neighborhood wants to ban a 3-year old’s sidewalk art. The group has hired an attorney and they say it is a shared sidewalk and they don’t want the colors on their sidewalks. The attorney for the group said that they are going down a path of do-no-harm and want to ban the chalk drawings.
iHoda’s Playlist: Brokenhearted Karmin Review
Hoda Kotb shared her song of the week on iHoda’s Playlist. This week she chose Brokenhearted by Karmin. She said it is so good and you are going to want to work out to it.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Jim Parsons Harvey Review
Kathie Lee Gifford went and saw Harvey at Studio 54. This is a show starring Jim Parsons, from Big Bang Theory. Kathie Lee said it is a fun show and you think you are watching James Stewart. Jim Parsons is wonderful in it.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Voices Always Remember Gala
Kathie Lee Gifford was the keynote speakers at the Voices Always Remember Gala, which was a benefit for Voices of September 11. It featured 500 people who have lost someone to the 9/11 tragedy. She sang her song, Little Baby, which she wrote for an assistant after the tragedy. The song is featured on her My Way Home album.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Is It Okay To Quit?
For OK! Magazine, Kathie Lee and Hoda answer the question: Is it ok to quit while on top? Kathie Lee said having done it myself, I highly recommend it. Hoda said it is the best way to end a good run…leave them wanting more. The ladies agree this time.
