Kathie Lee & Hoda: Chef Peter Kelly
Kathie Lee has had a busy week! She shared that Wednesday evening she was in West Chester in White Plains, New York at a Bloomingdale’s event for chef Peter Kelly, who is well known in the Hudson Valley. She said about 700 people showed up for the event.

Kathie Lee and Hoda talked about the CMT Awards that were given June 4. The awards were hosted by Kristen Bell.
They also shared that there were some surprising performances beginning with the opening act. Rapper Hason Derulo opened the awards, singing with Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan, and ZZ Top. Kathie Lee and Hoda mentioned that rap is now becoming a part of country music, with artists like Florida Georgia Line including it in their work. Hoda said she’s a fan of it, but Kathie Lee, not so much.
Another performance was Hunter Hayes and Jennifer Nettles performing with John Legend to sing his song “All Of Me“. Kathie Lee said that she was told his concert was one of the best shows ever seen.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Pharrell “Happy” in the Rain
Seems like the Today Show crew can’t get enough of Pharrell! He was back, performing on the plaza, except this time he had to do it in the rain.
Hoda was so excited because she got a shout-out from Pharrell during his performance, except humorously enough, he said “I see you ‘Koda'”. Both Kathie Lee and I got a good laugh out of that one.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Bradley Cooper Short Shorts & Bieber Racist Video
Bradley Cooper was photographed wearing some extremely short shorts. The good news is, they were part of his costume for his new movie “American Sniper”. He bulked up a lot for the role, apparently so much so that those short, tight khaki shorts just don’t seem to fit him.
Also, Kathie Lee and Hoda talked about the new video that was released of Justin Bieber using the N word multiple times, talking about the Klu-Klux-Klan, and murder. The video appears to be even older than the one that was released of him using the N word. Kathie Lee said he should go away for a while and get educated on some things and come back and remind everyone how talented he is. “Go have surgery on your soul and come back,” she said.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Mindy Kaling Haircut & Jake Owen “Beachin'”
Kathie Lee and Hoda briefly mentioned how Mindy Kaling talked about her hair and her work. She recently got a haircut saying she wanted to get rid of “sweaty neck”. They showed a picture of her, and her hair is now about collar-bone length.
Hoda also shared a song off her playlist: “Beachin’” by Jake Owen. Kathie Lee clearly wasn’t a fan, but that songs on constant repeat in my house!
Lastly, Kathie Lee and Hoda asked is it okay or not okay to flash your undies on the red carpet. They both answered no, but said if it’s an accident, you get a pass.
