Nora Ephron, best known for writing the movies Sleepless In Seattle, When Harry Met Sally and You’ve Got Mail, has passed away at the age of 71. Kathie Lee said that she wrote about truth and wasn’t afraid of truth. Ephron has been battling an illness, but has kept it out of the news.
Today Show: Channing Tatum Flash Mob
On The Today Show to promote his new movie Magic Mike, Channing Tatum led a flash mob on the Plaza. He started out with Ann Curry, Al Roker and Joe Manganiello, but the Plaza was overtaken by dancers, as Channing and the dancers performed to It’s Raining Men…sexy!

With Joe Manganiello paying a visit to the ladies on June 26 2012, Kathie Lee and Hoda went to their Facebook page and asked their fans if they would go to a male strip club? The fans spoke and 34% said yes, 19% said no and 47% said yes, but only if they all look like Joe Manganiello.

According to a NY Post story, NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg has installed an air conditioning unit into his vehicle’s window. His staff installed the unit and he claims it helps save money by not running the vehicle all the time to keep the car’s a/c going.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: No More Grunting In Women’s Tennis
If you’ve watched women’s professional tennis, I am sure you have heard the Williams sisters or Maria Sharapova grunting during their matches. The Women’s Tennis Association wants to put an end to the grunting. Umpires will hold devices to find level of volume in court. Martina Navratilova said it is a level of cheating because the women will have to change their games. The policy will be grandmothered in, so it affects only new players and Maria can keep grunting.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Don’t Toot Or I’ll Shoot
A New Jersey man was threatened with a gun for passing gas outside another man’s home. The homeowner said the farts were so loud and stinky and he couldn’t stand it anymore, so he threatened to shoot the guy. The homeowner was charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a firearm and making terroristic threats and was released without bail. To tell you the truth, I can’t believe I just typed any of that into this recap!
