Kathie Lee & Hoda: Guest Co-Host Lisa Rinna On Omarosa
Lisa Rinna was guest co-hosting the fourth hour of the Today Show with Hoda Kotb today because Kathie Lee is on the West Coast. The first thing Hoda wanted to know from her co-host for the day was what is wrong with Omarosa on Celebrity Apprentice this season. Hoda even showed a clip of her yelling at LaToya Jackson.
Rinna said it is all an act. In real life, Rinna said she likes Omarosa but when she puts on her evil character that she plays on television, Rinna doesn’t want anything to do with her.
Hoda was pretty certain she could take on Omarosa if a yelling match started. Although Hoda admitted she is not very confrontational, when her patience is at it’s end, which she admits can take a long time, she turns into a new person. Her sister calls it Hoda’s evil twin. I would have never pegged Hoda as someone who could really get mad. She seems so nice and fun on the Today Show.

Kathie Lee & Hoda: Lisa Rinna’s Silicone Injected Lips
Before the co-hosts could move on to anymore news, Hoda really wanted to get the scoop on Rinna’s lips and even though she didn’t want to talk about it, Rinna eventually opened up. She told Hoda she and her best friend decided to get silicone injected into their lips after they saw the movie Beaches nearly 25 years ago. Then, a few years ago, Rinna said the lip injections began getting hard and a doctor had to remove as much of the silicone as he could meaning her lips are pretty close to being all natural now.
But Rinna wouldn’t take the lip injections back if she could.
“My lips have had their own career,” Rinna said. “Without my lips I would have had a different career.”

Hoda has a new favorite band and they are called Jars of Clay Band. She recently heard them while in Florida with Kathie Lee shooting the cover for a top secret magazine (not Hustler according to Hoda), and Kathie Lee threw a party at her house and the band played for the guests. Hoda said it reminded her of Crosby, Stills and Nash.

Beyonce has a new single out, “Bow Down,” which Hoda was listening to on the show to discuss the offensive lyrics when Rinna decided she was going to start saying some of the words out loud for some reason. She ended up saying s*** two times and then telling Hoda the only thing her husband told her to focus on while on the show was not saying any four letter words.
After that fiasco, which Hoda thought was hilarious, they moved on to the next segment.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Lisa Rinna Set Up Ryan Seacrest & Julianne Hough
You would think Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough would be the most upset people about their breakup, but it seems Lisa Rinna is even more upset. She told Hoda it was actually her idea to set the two up in the first place. She said she met Julianne on Dancing with the Stars and she knew Ryan Seacrest through his trainer. She thought they would be a great couple so she set them up but told Hoda, “I feel a little sad, because my matchmaking didn’t work out.”

Hoda and Lisa Rinna went over their favorite things this week and both are pretty useful for anyone who wants to work out.
Hoda said she really likes Devigi Workout Pants because they are so flattering on her body when she is working out.
Rinna said her favorite things this week are Emi Jay Hair Ties, a company started by two girls when they were only 13 which is pushing to earn around $5 million this year, the final year the two girls will be in high school.
