Kathie Lee & Hoda: “Undateable” Promo
While watching America’s Got Talent, Kathie Lee and Hoda caught a glimpse of a promo for a new NBC show called Undateable. In the promo, one of the men is talking about naming a woman’s chest and says “I’m thinking Kathie Lee and Hoda because they’re so perky in the morning.” Kathie Lee and Hoda loved the shout-out but Kathie Lee said she’s not perky in the mornings anymore, but when someone calls her perky she “lights up”.
Today Show: Samsung Children’s Charities Event
Hoda shared that she went to an event put on by Samsung for children’s charities. She said it was so inspiring. Carrie Underwood performed at the event and Jessica Alba was in attendance as well.

Hoda said she had so much fun with the two guys at her table, who’s names she didn’t know, and they kept commenting on the fact that she was using an iPhone at a Samsung event.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Jimmy Fallon People Magazine Cover
Jimmy Fallon is on the cover of People Magazine with his daughter, who is about to turn one. He said that being a father is the most exciting, amazing thing that has ever happened to him and everything is going so well on the show. His life “has never been so cool.”
His wife, Nancy Juvonen works for the same production company as Drew Barrymore, and Kathie Lee and Hoda said she’s a cougar. Jimmy is 39 and Nancy is 47. Kathie Lee and Hoda also pointed out that Jimmy’s ratings have gone up 27% since he started his show.
Today Show: Hugh Jackman Shaved Head + “All By Myself” Airport Video
Kathie Lee and Hoda also talked about how the handsome Hugh Jackman just shaved his head for his role as Blackbeard the pirate in the new movie “Pan” based on the story of Peter Pan. Kathie Lee said he now looks like Howie Mandel.
Kathie Lee and Hoda shared a video created by a Las Vegas airport passenger who agreed to get bumped from his seat and was stuck in the airport overnight. He had a music video the song “All By Myself.” In the video was wearing an “I heart LV” shirt and filmed himself in different areas of the airport using his luggage and other things to hold the camera while filming.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Airplane Small Talk
How do you feel about small talk with strangers on airplanes? Trip Advisor found that people actually like small talk on places. They talked to more than 4,000 flyers and over half said they like small talk. Kathie Lee said she likes politeness, but she doesn’t want to talk the whole way.
I flew a lot for volleyball and wasn’t always able to sit next to teammates. When I had to sit next to a stranger I usually simply said hello and waited for them to make small talk if they wanted. If they did, I went along with it, but it never lasted longer than a few minutes. I tend to agree with Kathie Lee.
Today Show: Match.com Pairing You With Ex Look-a-Likes
Kathie Lee & Hoda shared that Match.com is now going to put something into their site that finds matches for you based on what your ex looks like because they feel that’s your type. They also pointed out that using the site can cost you $5,000 for 6 months.
I like the idea of matching you based on personality and interests rather than looks. Besides, like Kathie Lee pointed out, your ex is your ex for a reason so why would you want someone else like them?
Kathie Lee also shared a picture of what her husband used to look like when he was 28 years old, and said her timing was off because he didn’t look like that when she met him.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Vans Custom Culture High School Winner
Vans held an art competition for high schools to create hand painted or hand drawn Vans shoes. Rio Rancho High School in Rio Rancho, New Mexico won the contest and received a $50,000 check for the school’s art program.
