Kathie Lee and Hoda with The Scoop on The Today Show and they talked about Facebook hits a billion users, Carolina Herrera t-shirt for Breast Cancer Awareness and iHoda’s Playlist.
The bullied news anchor from Wisconsin invited the man, Kenneth Krause, who wrote the email to her on air to discuss it and he declined. Kathie Lee said bullies are cowards and when someone steps up to them, then they run away, which is what he did. She said she is a mother to three little girls and you should ask those girls if she is a good role model.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Facebook Hits 1 Billion Users
Facebook has now got a billion users. Hoda said that means that one in seven people in the world are part of the Facebook community.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Bald Men Less Attractive
Bald men are considered more masculine, but less attractive. Hoda said there is some chemistry that you feel when you meet a guy, it is in the eyes and it doesn’t matter if they are bald or hefty or whatever. The ladies mentioned some men that are bald and sexy, including Bruce Willis, Vin Diesel, Howie Mandel, Patrick Stewart, Ed Harris, Taye Diggs and Matt Lauer. I personally take offense to this!
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Tyler Perry Buys Van For Woman
Shaq was announced as the Nice Guy of the Week winner on October 3 2012, but the ladies have two winners in one week. The new one is Tyler Perry, who heard a Georgia woman’s van was stolen from her driveway, so he went out and bought her a new one. The lady has cerebral palsy and the van was especially equipped for her to drive, which she drives to work as a greeter at Home Depot. The story aired on a local news station and he saw it and bought the van for her. Hoda said he is a great, great guy.

Hoda said they are talking about classifying it as a real mental illness. To find out, you must ask yourself these questions:
- How long do you find yourself staying online longer than intended?
- How often do you neglect household chores so you can be online?
- How often do you prefer the excitement of the internet compared the intimacy of your partner?
- How often do you form new relationships with online users?
- How often do you find yourself anticipating when you can go online again?

She said you are going to love this song. It is an old song by John Denver, but Carly Rae Jepsen covers it. The song is called “Sunshine on My Shoulders.”

For OK! Magazine, Kathie Lee and Hoda answered the question: Is it OK to tweet for your pet? Kathie Lee said it is okay, but let’s be honest, it’s kind of weird. Hoda said yes it is okay. Finally you can tweet naked pictures and no one will care.

October is Breat Cancer Awareness Month and Carolina Herrera has created a limited edition t-shirt for Saks 14th Annual Key to the Cure Campaign. The shirt is $35 and all of the proceeds will go to the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s Women’s Cancer Research Foundation.
