Kathie Lee & Hoda: Nathan Adrian and Allyson Felix Interview
Team USA rocked at the London Olympics 2012. Two athletes that struck gold on the track and in the pool have made their way back home. Nathan Adrian earned two golds and a silver and did what no other American swimmer has done in 24 years: grabbing gold in the 100m freestyle. Allyson Felix won three golds, including individual in the 200m.

Hoda Kotb said that Allyson Felix won silver in previous Olympics, but finally took home the gold. Felix said it was amazing. For so long she has wanted it and it just finally came together. She was overjoyed when she crossed that line. As soon as she crossed that line, she was searching for her family. In Beijing she was so devastated, but here she is so happy.
Nathan Adrian: Most Watched Race During London Olympics 2012
Hoda Kotb said the race that Nathan Adrian won was the most watched swimming race in all of the London Olympics 2012. On winning the gold, Nathan Adrian said it was a good feeling.
You never know in swimming. It’s difficult trying to keep your head in line to be as fast as possible and you don’t know if you are going to touch the wall first. You really have to watch that scoreboard.
London Olympics 2012: Coming Home With Gold
Nathan Adrian said that every time he sees it on TV he gets goosebumps and watching her race too, it’s incredible. It’s so exciting to be back in the United States and experience it all over again through this land.
Coming Back For Rio 2016?
Allyson Felix said she definitely wants to. She said she is just so passionate about it and can’t imagine her life without it, so she is going to go for it. Nathan Adrian said the same for him. He said he has never had more fun in the sport and he is very excited.
