Zachary Quinto: Spock In Star Trek Into Darkness
Kathie Lee & Hoda spoke with Zachary Quinto, the actor who has taken on the iconic role of Spock in Star Trek Into Darkness. Before they chatted about the upcoming sci-fi blockbuster, KLG & Hoda took some time to marvel at Zachary’s most distinctive facial feature: his “outrageous” eyebrows. Kathie Lee assured Zachary that Brooke Shields has nothing on him. In fact, Zachary’s eyebrows are a sign that he’s the perfect actor to portray the famous human-Vulcan hybrid!
While promoting Star Trek Into Darkness, Zachary has noticed the response from fans this time around has been “unbelievable.” As Spock, he had very big shoes to fill. However, he’s received support from the original Spock, Leonard Nimoy, with whom he’s since become friends. “I have nothing but respect and love for him,” Zachary said.
Zachary Quinto: Bromance Between Spock and Kirk
Often, people misinterpret Spock as “emotionless,” but there’s a definite “bromance” brewing between Spock and Captain Kirk (Chris Pine) in the film. Zachary likened it to the relationship between Kathie Lee and Hoda; Hoda is Spock, while Kathie Lee is Kirk.
