How do we show our husbands that they are truly appreciated and loved? Think outside the box, please.
Matthew believes that when it comes to showing your man that you appreciate him, it’s the “little things” that count. Small displays of affection – like a big hug when he comes home from work – go a long way. Also, why not tell your man he’s handsome? Men aren’t used to being complimented on their looks the way women often are. There are many different ways to offer your support and love.
My boyfriend is not great at communicating when we’re apart. How do I tell him to call or text more without sounding needy?
When it comes to feeling loved, everyone has different needs. You may need to speak with your boyfriend more often than he needs to speak with you in order to feel your relationship is secure. It’s important to communicate what your rules are, which could be different than his rules.
I had a baby three months ago. My husband is finding me attractive and wanting to be intimate, but I don’t feel sexy at all. How do I tell him I’m not ready yet?
Matthew emphasized that just because a woman may change, it doesn’t mean the relationship has. This woman’s husband is still looking to “be the hero” in his relationship, and a baby doesn’t change that. Matthew believes she still has the ability to feel attractive – just in a different way.
