Yolanda Foster: Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Kathie Lee’s friend David Foster is an 18-time Grammy Award-winning musician. Now, he’s moved to reality television along with his wife, Yolanda, on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Yolanda is a new cast member on the hit series, which has come to be known for its high levels of drama and tension between its housewives. Yolanda and David both stopped by Kathie Lee & Hoda to chat about the show.
Hoda pointed out that Yolanda seems to be the voice of reason on the show, and that’s exactly what Yolanda wanted going into the experience. She doesn’t agree with some of the arguing and controversial comments that the other housewives seem to favor. Brandi Glanville recently made some very harsh public comments about Leann Rimes, but Yolanda believes that staying quiet is the far better route.
Not even David is immune to the constant bickering between the ladies. He revealed that the first time he met all of the housewives, a giant argument started. However, he isn’t worried about Yolanda being sucked into the drama. “Nobody’s going to bring her down on the show,” he said.
David Foster: Yolanda and David Foster Together Seven Years
Yolanda and David have been together for seven years, and Yolanda called it “a blessing every day.” Despite the drama of the show, David revealed that there is plenty of peace and love within their private relationship. Yolanda is keeping David very fit and healthy, because it’s her goal to be married to him longer than all of his other wives (of which there have been three).
Yolanda also said that she had been struggling with Lyme disease, but she’s happy to report that she’s doing much better. See Yolanda and David Foster on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Super Bowl Mocktail Ideas
If you happen to be going through a dry spell with Kathie Lee & Hoda, pay attention; the ladies learned some great, alcohol-free “mocktail” ideas from Tara Bench, Food & Entertaining Editor at Ladies Home Journal. These ideas are also perfect for designated drivers or the under 21 set!
- Try Kathie Lee’s signature drink, the “Giffarita.” Rim a margartia glass with sugar and salt, then create a salty limeade.
- Tara invented a “Hail Mary,” which is an alcohol-free version of a Bloody Mary. Substitute Tabasco for Thai hot sauce.
- The “No-jito Mojito,” which is the same as a regular mojito – just no rum!
- Hoda loved the Super Bowl punch containing pear nectar, apple juice and lemon.
