Kathie Lee & Hoda: Candace Cameron Bure’s TV Hiatus
Most commonly known for her role as DJ Tanner on Full House, Candace Cameron Bure spent 10 years as a full-time stay at home mom, raising her three children. She loves acting and knew she would eventually come back to TV, so she spent time with her family before her return to the small screen.
She said her 15-year-old daughter likes to sing and act and she would fully support her if she decided to follow in her mother’s footsteps, and her two sons are looking to be like dad, NHL player Valeri Bure, and play hockey. Candace and Valeri also own and run a winery, Bure Family Wines, that was awarded 96/100 by wine critic Robert Parker.

As a mother and a woman, Candace Cameron Bure said that she tries to chose roles based on the script, always looking for a movie or show with a family tone and a good message. Candace has a long history with family programming, getting her start on Full House and has been one of the few child actors to escape with her morals intact.
Kathie Lee & Hoda: Finding Normal Review
It’s fitting that Candace’s return to television will be in a family-friendly movie premiering on the Gospel Music Channel. In the movie, Finding Normal, Candace plays a doctor moving across the country who gets stuck in a small, country town having to do community service. Candace’s character learns the ins and outs of small towns and family values. She finds a new path through God and the small town, learning lessons about life and love.
