Dean Cain, from the VH1 show Hit The Floor, joined Kathie Lee and Hoda on the Today Show.

Hit The Floor is now in its second season, and Cain plays the basketball coach of the Los Angeles Devils.

He shared a funny story about how he was recently in Korea town and got a chair massage that he thought was so good, he wanted a full body one. He was taken into another room, thinking he was going to lay down and have his legs massaged. But there was a language barrier and the woman started waxing his back. He said he’s Japanese so he doesn’t have much hair on his back to start with, but now he has none.

Dean Cain said that the show Hit The Floor is his favorite job ever because he loves the world of professional athletics. He said it’s a great ensemble cast of adults and young people. He also loves the crew and the working hours. He said it’s an ensemble cast which means they get a steady paycheck but they don’t have to be there all day.

Kathie Lee and Hoda asked about whether he would run for congress in California. He said he’s not happy with the current state of their political system in California and thinks that good people don’t often run. He said he’s considering it, but it’s not something he’s doing in the near future. He added that if things continue as they are now, he won’t have another choice.

Right now, however, Cain is also the host of Masters of Illusion, which is all about illusions and magic. He said the show delves into illusions and explains some of the tricks that can take place. He said he’s not very good at it but has always been fascinated by it.

Alison Sweeney, host of The Biggest Loser and actress on Days of Our Lives, recently came out with her new book titled Scared Scriptless.

After 21 years, Sweeney is saying goodbye to her role as Sammy on Days of Our Lives. She said she’s excited for new adventures like writing books and spending more time with her kids.

As for the book, she said it is a behind the scenes gossipy, juicy story about Hollywood. She said it’s stories about the people behind the cameras. The main character in the book is a script supervisor and she is a meticulous person who is very picky with actors. The character is struggling and wants to keep artists on track but she does have romance in her life.

Kathie Lee and Hoda pointed out that people were tweeting at Alison Sweeney about leaving Days of Our Lives.

A lot of them were predicting how the show would deal with her leaving. Some say they will kill her off, some say she’ll go to jail for life, and one even suggested she would end up on an island somewhere. She said that none of those were even remotely close. But the way they chose to do it does leave the door open for her to come back, because according to Sweeney, not even murder could close that door.
