Guys Tell All: Grant Bowler, Rick Younger, Hal Runkel & Louis Ortiz Give Dating Advice
Kathie Lee and Hoda assembled a top notch team of men at different stages in their lives to give other men, and their ladies, advice. Defiance star Grant Bowler, comedian Rick Younger, marriage and family expert Hal Runkel, and Louis Ortiz from Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing: New York. The men answered questions from real viewers.
Julie wanted to know what to do when dating your spouse gets a little stale. Rick Younger said his go to is the “Butt Naked Run Through.” You run through the house naked, grab your clothes and then got out on your date. It gets the blood pumping. Hal Runkel said that’s a good idea, or you could do something else. His wife started getting ready separate from him when they go out on dates. That way, he’s pleasantly surprised when he sees her before the date.
Younger said you could role play and Grant Bowler liked that idea. Go to new places and then meet up there, like before you were married. It shakes things up and gives you a fresh approach.
Finding Quality Time With Your Spouse & Breaking Up
Another problem is taking a family trip and finding quality time with your spouse. Rick Younger said take grandma on the trip so she can watch the kids at night when you go out with your spouse. Louis Ortiz said a family vacation is time for the whole family, so you really should give everyone equal time. He’s not married and does not have kids.
A Facebook question came in about what guys think about on a first date. Louis Ortiz had this one covered. He said he likes it when a woman is confident and knows who she is. It makes the guy want to dig deeper into the relationship and discover everything about her. Grant Bowler likes when his date is relaxed on the date.
When breaking up with a man, the guys all agree that you should just give it to them straight. “Let’s be friends” means a lot more and can mislead a guy.
