Wendy Williams: Mark Feuerstein
Mark Feuerstein has had a career over a decade long, but it wasn’t until Royal Pains came along that he ever saw a regular role in a TV show. Mark played a lot of one-off roles on shows, but never really had any that stuck, and this trend started in the late 1990s, when he appeared on eight episodes on Caroline In The City, which only even lasted for four seasons. He also has quite a few uncredited roles, in addition to the small credited ones. It’s good to see this determined actor has found a home.
Royal Pains, in case you didn’t know, is a USA Network medical dramedy about Hank Lawson (played by Mark Feuerstein), an emergency room doctor that leaves his job after being responsible for the death of an important patient. He moves to the Hamptons, where he takes on a job as a freelance doctor that makes house calls to the opulent occupants of the upscale neighborhood. Where’s the drama aspect, you ask? Well, Hank starts to help the poor right along with the rich, and has to decide between helping himself on financial grounds, or the less fortunate on moral ones.
