Wendy Show: True Blood Final Season
True Blood is now in its seventh and final season, and Joe Manganiello said he would be interested in doing a spinoff werewolf movie. Williams said it must be nice as an actor to have a reliable gig for such a long time.
“I’ve been acting for 21 years. But to think that it really wasn’t until four or five years ago that people really started paying attention to what I was doing,” he said, adding that acting is a struggle and you don’t know whether it will work out or not.
Manganiello plays a werewolf, and he joined the cast in the show’s third season. Joe admitted he has been a kleptomaniac on the set all along, snagging a few mementos. He also kept his sock, the one he uses for his revealing romantic scenes, and said he would have it framed for his guest bathroom.
Wendy Williams: Joe Manganiello Fans
On Instagram, Joe shared some of the steamy fan art that people have shared with him. Wendy pointed out how much work it must have taken to make these tributes.
Joe did announce that he has had to inform the police about two male stalkers over the years. One of them got his phone number and another tracked down his address, which made for some awkward moments at the police station.
Manganiello was dating a model, but they broke up last spring. He played mum about his current status, but did say he likes curves and that his type has changed over the years. “I love being manipulated if it’s done in a skillful manner,” he added.
Wendy’s Shoe Cam showed off his Meslin Alligator Shoes. True Blood airs Sundays on HBO.
Wendy Show: Joe Manganiello La Bare Review
Magic Mike was a huge international hit, and a sequel is in the works. Manganiello said he is onboard for the sequel, and as far as he knows, the rest of the cast will also be returning. But in the meantime, he has another stripper-themed project.
His new documentary La Bare follows male dancers, and he wrote, directed, and produced it with his brother. La Bare was inspired by the response to Magic Mike and the motivations for audiences at clubs featuring male vs female entertainers.
Manganiello said that women want more of a show, which means the male entertainers have to train, prepare routines, and develop storylines.
In honor of Wendy’s 50th birthday on July 18, Joe Manganiello surprised her with three buff guys who helped him present her with a bouquet of roses. La Bare is in select theaters now.
