Longtime soap star Susan Lucci is never shy about doing press to promote her projects. Though her time at All My Children seems to have ended, now she is in primetime with the series Devious Maids.
In a summer where race took center stage as a hot topic across America, Lucci spoke out in defense of what some have called racist stereotypes based on the premise of the show, which portrays Latina maids and the white families they work for. The View: Little Big Town & Kimberly Schlapman Simply Southern Review
Little Big Town is a small country band that is making a big splash. Their song “Pontoon” has helped them win numerous awards and establish their success as bona fide stars. What’s more, Kimberly Schlapman is the host of a cooking show you can watch on GAC. It’s called Kimberly’s Simply Southern, and it features her favorite recipes from growing up through the present day.
After she explained some of the ingredients of her Lobster Casserole and Vinegar Pie, she teamed up with her bandmates to perform a song from the album Tornado. Click to read more about her visit to The View with Little Big Town from the August 30 episode.
