The View: Clare Bowen Performance
Nashville’s Clare Bowen was on The View last week talking about her role on the show and her background in singing. Her performance was cut off due to a speech from President Obama, so The View replayed it today.
Bowen sang “When The Right One Comes Along,” from the Nashville soundtrack. You could hear her classical opera training coming through, but she was very wide eyed and innocent to the point of being distracting. She reminded me of Luna Lovegood from the Harry Potter movies – a little spacey. Her performance was lovely, she just was very quiet and sweet.
The View: Linda Pugach Dies At 75
Linda Pugach was blinded in 1959 when her husband hired a hit man to throw acid on her face. She came on the view in 2007 with her husband, Burton Pugach, and explained why she stayed with the man that tried to have her killed.
She said that her husband was her best friend and that she loved him despite it all. While he was in jail and after he was released he continued a path of cheating, lying and attacking the women that spurned him.
Linda died at the age of 75 of natural causes. The View remembered her but couldn’t fathom why she would stay with the man who hurt her.
The View: Subway Sued
Subway is being sued by two New Jersey men after they found out that the famous $5 Footlong sandwich is less than 12 inches long. The photos went viral on the internet, but they seem to be the only ones taking actual action against the sandwich chain.
