The View: Jonathan Jackson Enation
Jonathan Jackson formed Enation with his brother Richard. Jonathan said that he was the younger brother, so he was begging Richard to play with him. He played drums and Jonathan played guitar and his brother never wanted to play with him. Finally, one day he played with him and they jammed for three hours. Jonathan was only 11 at the time. He said the jam session probably sounded terrible but they thought it was the coolest thing in the world.
The View: Jonathan Jackson Nashville
Jonathan Jackson plays a musician on Nashville and he said the show was looking for actors that could really play and sing. He said the first time he performed on the show, it was surreal to have the two worlds of acting and music come together. Jonathan Jackson said it’s possible that Enation might be on Nashville. The show has also been renewed for a third season. Jonathan Jackson said he doesn’t know what’s happening in the new season. He’s waiting for a new script just like everyone else is waiting for a new episode.
The View: Enation “Everything Is Possible” Performance
Enation performed their song “Everything Is Possible” on the show. The band has a very ’90s feel to its sound. I can’t describe what it is. It’s like if you mixed up Goo Goo Dolls and Oasis with a dash of Pearl Jam thrown in. It definitely sounded like it shouldn’t be in this era. But it sounded good and the entire band definitely seemed like they’d performed on a million stages before. Jonathan Jackson in particular really shined on stage and seemed to know how to command the audience’s attention.
