The Talk August 30 2013
Marie Osmond is joining the conversation on The Talk’s August 30 episode. This show features a conversation with Getaway star Selena Gomez, as well as a performance by Il Volo. Check out what’s in store for fans of The Talk on Friday’s episode.
Guest co-host Marie Osmond, who sometimes goes simply by “Marie,” though I don’t think she is in the tier of single-named entertainers, will be back at the table. She is in heavy guest host rotation, second only to Carnie Wilson. It’s safe to say that one of these ladies would be a contender to join the panel permanently if a spot were to open up at the table.
The Talk: Selena Gomez Getaway Review
Selena Gomez plays a character simply known as The Kid in Ethan Hawke’s latest movie, Getaway, which is in theaters August 30, in time for this encore presentation. The fact that this interview originally took place a few weeks ago explains why Gomez can’t address any of the hot topics she witnessed during the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, where she sat in the audience next to her close friend Taylor Swift.
Tune in to find out what else is on Selena’s radar in the coming months; Gomez might need the distraction after the abysmal reviews for Getaway. She’s also slated to appear in two movies next year, so hopefully those will be better showcases for her.
The Talk: Il Volo
The young men of Il Volo are just getting out of their teens, but they have already taken over the world music scene. Members Piero Barone and Ignazio Boschetto are tenors, while their compatriot Gianluca Ginoble is a baritone.
The singers are scheduled to perform their Italian operatic pop on The Talk for their fans in the studio audience and at home. These guys represent a classic tradition that is not often carried on in American music, but seems to thrive in Europe. You can watch these guys sing their hearts out on Friday’s show.
