The Talk: Carnie Wilson
Carnie Wilson (of Wilson Phillips fame) has been taking up a good amount of time at The Talk table. She actually fits in quite well, but it would be nice to see Carnie let loose and be herself. The women of The Talk can be scandalous in their own way, so here’s hoping Carnie has loosened up and it ready to rock on August 13.
Sara Gilbert ‘The Imperfect Environmentalist’ Book Review
The Talk host Sara Gilbert is the resident vegan and environmental chica at the table. Her new book The Imperfect Environmentalist: A Practical Guide to Clearing Your Body, Detoxing Your Home, and Saving the Earth (Without Losing Your Mind) comes out on August 13 2013. Not only does it have a long name, but it’s full of practical advice that you can employ at home.
“This book really opened my eyes. Then my eyes started stinging and tearing from all the toxins in the environment I’m now aware of. Thanks, Sara, I have a lot to do now,” said guest Lisa Kudrow.
Lisa Kudrow: Web Therapy
On Showtime’s Web Therapy, Lisa Kudrow dives into the role of Fiona Wallice. She’s all about helping people in as little time as possible. Dr Wallice lends advice to patients over Skype in just little spurt sessions, where she believes she is completely effective. She’s helped characters played by Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, Meryl Streep, Alan Cumming, and Courteney Cox.
Personally, I love the series of episodes with Darren Criss and Mae Whitman, where they play an online dating couple debating where they should meet for the first time. Kudrow tries to keep her cool, but she can’t comprehend this new web generation.
