The Talk: Lady Antebellum
The Grammy Awards are Sunday, February 10 2013 on CBS, but Lady Antebellum already has a pretty full trophy case. The band has released three blockbuster albums, and they joined the women of The Talk for a conversation about the upcoming Stevie Nicks & Lady Antebellum CMT Crossroads episode.
The bandmates are Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott, and Dave Haywood. I’m not sure who was more excited: the co-hosts or the audience. Hillary Scott is pregnant and in her second trimester, starting to get some of her energy back.

But the other bandmates are not yet decided on potential fatherhood. They will wait and see how things go while on tour with Hillary’s baby. Charles and Dave said that Hillary’s baby will at least be very spoiled when he is born into the extended family of their band.
Lady Antebellum has been documenting its career with a video camera over the years, and they agreed that it’s fun to look back on their changing hairstyles and fashions through the years. “My jeans get a little tighter,” Charles said.
The Talk: Lady Antebellum Downtown
Lady Antebellum is preparing to release their fourth studio album, and the first single is “Downtown.” Hillary said that they wanted something energetic that would fit with their new higher profile and bigger venues while on tour.
Charles said that they wanted to make a “roll down your windows kind of record.” The band tries not to focus on the pressure of their success and invest their energy in making quality, honest music for their fans.

What advice do these seasoned Grammy winners have for first-time nominees? “Soak up the moment,” Charles said.
Dave’s advice was not to be afraid to mingle with your favorite artists among the fellow nominees. You never know when you will get another chance to rub elbows with the stars.
The Talk: Lady Antebellum CMT Crossroads
Lady Antebellum is teaming up with Stevie Nicks for the CMT series Crossroads. Together, they will be singing some of the biggest hits from both of their catalogs. Hillary said it is “going to be a dream come true.”
