La Toya Jackson came by The Talk to discuss her reality show Life with La Toya. But first, the ladies of The Talk had a question for her about a topic they were discussing earlier. How often does La Toya Jackson talk to her good friends? La Toya said that she didn’t talk to her best friend at all during her marriage, because he wouldn’t let her speak to anyone. But after she left him, she started talking to her best friend again like nothing happened.

La Toya Jackson is now engaged and she showed off her huge ring on The Talk. Sheryl Underwood wondered if her fiance had a father she could date. La Toya Jackson said that she and her fiance are business partners, so they’re very close. He actually went to ask her father for permission. Her father and her fiance convinced her to go to Hawaii, even though she didn’t want to, because she was doing a play at the time.
Her fiance lined their hotel bedroom with flower pedals and candles and everything and La Toya couldn’t believe it. They had a six course meal and there was a chef, butler, servant, and a housekeeper to help out. When it came to dessert, he finally got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.

Sheryl asked La Toya about admitting that she had cold feet on Life with La Toya. She wondered if there really would be a wedding. La Toya said she got nervous when she started planning everything.
The Talk: La Toya Jackson Dancing in Jaffa
La Toya Jackson is also an executive producer of a documentary called Dancing in Jaffa, which has already won seven awards. The documentary is about Palestinian kids and Israeli kids learning to get along through the art by ballroom dancing. By teaching them the dance, the kids overcome their differences.
