The Talk: Gwyneth Paltrow is Cameron Diaz’s Life Coach
After a mid-life crisis at the age of 40, Cameron Diaz has enlisted the help of Gwyneth Paltrow to be her new life coach and Paltrow has some interesting techniques to get her back on her feet. First she helped Diaz get her finances together, then she sent her to her trainer to get her in shape and she is making Diaz swear off men for a year to help her focus.

Sharon Osbourne said we may be receiving the message the wrong way. She thought Paltrow wanted Diaz to swear off relationships and not get mentally involved with men. She figured if she could stop getting attached to different men she could concentrate on herself and her future without focusing on something else.
“If you do not get emotionally attached to a man you are not going to be taking those emotions with you,” said Osbourne. “It is the relationship that bogs you down.”

Aisha Tyler said she might not be having lots of one-night stands with different men but just the fact of getting attached to a man can drain a woman’s energy. The pursuit of a man and the wondering if the relationship will work out can drain the energy and focus right out of someone.
Sara Gilbert didn’t even think Cameron Diaz’s life was that bad in the first place but she did have some thoughts on the subject. “If you can eliminate desire it would be a good thing but if you are thinking too much about your love life, then it could be counter productive,” said Gilbert.
You are never going to catch Sheryl Underwood swearing off any men. “That would be like me swearing off bacon,” she said.
