Steve Wilkos: Unfit Parents Put On The Spot With Abuse Accusations

Steve Wilkos: August 7 2013

On Steve Wilkos August 7 2013, a couple of unfit parents are brought on the show because they are at risk of losing their child if they don’t shape up. There has been suspected abuse carried out on both parents’ parts, with the father having dropped the child onto a couch when it was being difficult during feeding. Then, when Steve asks the mother about injuries the baby may have incurred, she responded with an indifferent “what about them?” which really sent Steve over the edge. Will Steve be able to straighten there parents out? Here is what’s happening on Steve Wilkos August 7 2013.

Steve Wilkos: Unfit Parents Put On The Spot With Abuse Accusations

Two unfit parents are accused of abusing their infant child.

Steve Wilkos: Unfit Parents

Though dropping someone probably only a couple inches onto a couch doesn’t really seem like anything to get worked up about, when it is done to a defenseless infant that has no idea how to react to something like that, serious injury could result.

The baby could get whiplash from its head quickly moving back and forth, since it doesn’t know to brace itself for impacts. It could also end up on the floor if it bounces off a cushion. With a baby, you just can’t be too safe when it comes to handling them.

The mother’s response to Steve’s questioning was also very troublesome. When being questioned about injuries your child may have incurred under your care, you don’t respond with a sarcastic answer. You either own up to them if you caused them or deny the crap out of them if you caused them.

Such an indifferent answer seems almost worse than the other two, since apathy generally means the person was not emotionally affected by anything that they did.
