Steve Wilkos August 14 2013
Steve Wilkos can be a depressing show, because it deals in the seedy and sad stories that are too dark for Jerry Springer. If Jerry is the original Law & Order of the daytime tabloid talk genre, Steve Wilkos would be the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. You can see what I mean in this August 14 show, where one guest wants to know: Did my boyfriend abuse my sister?
Steve Wilkos: Did My Boyfriend Abuse My Sister?

Did my boyfriend abuse my sister? That’s what a woman asked Steve Wilkos to find out on August 14, and everyone was shocked when the truth was revealed.
Erica, who previously appeared on Steve’s show for a DNA test, returned with a startling accusation. She said that she was victimized when her sister’s boyfriend and his roommate assaulted her against her will when she was drunk.
It sounds like a lot of victim blaming is going on, because Erica has a reputation among their friends. Of course, the accused men, Mike and David, deny her claims. But they both admit that they slept with her on the same night.
I guess everyone on this episode was too worked up to sit down, because they did most of the show standing around the chairs and fielding Steve’s questions.
Steve Wilkos TV: Police Investigation Into Attack
Apparently, the facts all basically line up. But Erica’s sister, Ashley, is dating David, and he had been lying to her about the situation. Steve wondered why everyone didn’t tell the truth from the beginning, but the most stunning revelations were still to come.
The lie detector results showed that Erica was telling the truth. The activities in question were not consensual, according to her. As for Mike, he did not pass his lie detector test. That’s when he flipped out.
He claimed that Steve Wilkos set up the whole thing, which does not make sense, because there was an open police investigation before the show.
Ashley broke up with David on the spot. Steve had some words of wisdom for other young people watching the show: be careful how much you drink and try to hang around with a friend who can protect you in a bad situation.
