The Drs TV: Woman Find Migraine Relief Thanks To Show
The Doctors shared that they love hearing from viewers who say that watching the show helped them in some way. One woman shared the story of how she was suffering from crushing migraines.
Heather explained she had her first migraine when she was a teenager and then in her early twenties she started having daily headaches that became more intense. She said that as a mother, she wanted to play with her child and be happy so a lot of times she hid a lot of her symptoms.

Over the years, she has seen three neurologists and several family doctors, hoping for some kind of hope. One day she got a call from her father-in-law who had been watching The Doctors. He saw a Reed Procedure being featured on the show. She explained that a Reed Procedure is an implant for pain that will send signals that will actually block the pain.
After he saw it on The Doctors, Heather researched it, and then had the procedure done. Since having the procedure, she’s had a 90% improvement.
Heather said the procedure has completely changed her life. Her husband explained that the pain Heather was experiencing kept them from doing the things they enjoyed. Dr. Stork said since she’s feeling better, they needed to make up for some lost time. He surprised them with a trip to Cabo.

Together they lost 74 pounds in 100 days. As for their advice to those wanting to achieve the same goals, they explained that working together has been huge for them. Dr. Stork wanted to allow them to continue their journey to good health with a trip to a wellness resort. They received a trip to Red Mountain Resort in Utah.
Dr. Stork then surprised the entire audience with a trip to the Red Mountain Resort.

For The Doctors News in 2:00, they shared that in the latest issue of Women’s Health Magazine, Kate Hudson shared her health secrets that make her glow. She said “when you eat right, your skin changes, the color of your eyes change” but admitted it’s difficult to do and stay with it. She also admitted that she does like a drink and makes wine.
The Drs TV: Bucky Balls Recall Due To Child Dangers
Next, the doctors shared that a popular desk toy called Bucky Balls is getting pulled off shelves after sending nearly 8,000 children to the ER. The toy is made up of tiny high powered magnetic balls and was never marketed to children. But children were confusing the balls with candy and swallowing them. The magnets were so strong they when swallowed separately, the magnets would tear holes in internal organs while pulling toward each other. Last year, a 19-month-old girl died after swallowing seven magnets which attached to each other perforating her bowel.
The Doctors: RIP Joan Rivers
The Doctors then shared that last week they lost a dear friend, Joan Rivers. In August she went into cardiac arrest while undergoing a vocal chord procedure. She was then rushed to Mount Sinai hospital where she was put into a medically induced coma. She remained on life support for several days while her daughter was by her side. She was a frequent guest on The Doctors and during her last visit said “seize the moment.”
