The Doctors: Rihanna’s Favorite Foods
The Doctors were joined by chef Debbie Solomon, who is the personal chef to Rihanna. So what does Rihanna like to eat and how can it be beneficial to you? Debbie shared that she has been making her curry chicken dish once a week for the last five years, and it’s her husband’s favorite dish. She revealed that Rihanna actually only eats drumsticks and Dr Travis Stork was a fan because curry is made with turmeric which is a powerful anti-inflammatory and possibly even decrease your risk for Alzheimer’s. The Doctors then shared a picture from Rihanna’s Instagram of the smallest breakfast just about any of us had ever seen. We’re talking one small egg, a couple tiny slivers of bacon, and two quarter-sized pancakes. Debbie explained that it was a prank and Instagram went crazy over it. She explained Rihanna had talked to her about portion control and cutting back, so she thought it would be funny to serve her that dish on the fourth of July. She said Rihanna just burst out laughing at soon as she saw it.

The Doctors: What Does Rihanna Eat?
As for what Rihanna actually eats everyday, she enjoys 4 boiled eggs, berries and fresh fruit, and one slice of toast with the crust cut off for breakfast. As for what Rihanna cannot live without, it was Scotch Bonnet Pepper Sauce. Debbie said Rihanna has it with practically every meal.
The Doctors: Debbie Solomon Chicken Curry & Potatoes Recipe Ingredients
- 1 C low-sodium chicken stock
- 1/4 tsp garlic granules
- 1/4 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 3 tbsp Jamaican curry
- 3 pinches black pepper
- 1 potato & 2 tsp curry
- 1 Scotch Bonnet pepper, cut in two thin slices
- 3 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1 chicken breast – diced
- 4 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/4 tsp onion granules
- 1/4 tsp Lawry’s Seasoning Salt
- 2 pinches cumin
- Butter
- 1 green onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 small onion – diced
The Doctors: Debbie Solomon Chicken Curry & Potatoes Recipe Directions
- Peel the potato and dice into small squares
- In a small pot, put the potato in water with 2 tsp of curry and salt, then cook
- Cut chicken into bite-size pieces, then season with the dry ingredients and add all the vegetables
- Add a light amount of water to create a paste, but not too much, then rub it all in
- Let the chicken marinate for at least a half hour in the refrigerator
- Put a medium saute pan on the stove over medium heat
- When the pan is hot, add the chicken mixture to the pan and saute for approximately 2 minutes
- Add the stock and cook until tender
- Adjust the seasoning and add a little butter to finish
- When the potatoes are cooked, drain them and add to the cooked chicken
- Serve with rice
