The Doctors shared their News in 2:00, starting by sharing that the increase in opiate addicts sharing needles has been linked to the dramatic spike in the number of new HIV cases in Indiana. Since December 2014, nearly 100 people have been diagnosed with the virus. The CDC has officially confirmed an epidemic and the governor has declared a public health emergency.
One doctor in Indiana said that dirty needles are a common sight in yards and roadsides.

The Doctors then shared that Natalie Dormer, who had roles in both The Hunger Games and Game of Thrones, is quickly becoming a Hollywood it girl. In Self magazine, Natalie shared that she’s a caffeine addict who loves coffee, and likes to run in the morning to get her adrenaline going.
The Drs: Jake Gyllenhaal Bulked Up For Southpaw
News in 2:00 also recently got a sneak peek at the new movie Southpaw, and saw a bulked-up Jake Gyllenhaal playing the great Billy Hope. Jake dropped 30 pounds to play a sociopath in Nightcrawler, and then packed on 45 pounds of pure muscle, training twice a day at Floyd Mayweather’s gym.
The Doctors shared that rapid and repeated weight loss and gain can put you at risk for gallbladder disease, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.
The Drs: Lower Blood Pressure With Smoothie
The Doctors’ prescription of the day was a smoothie that lowers blood pressure naturally. Women who consume freeze-dried blueberry powder, equivalent to about one cup of fresh blueberries, per day, experienced a five percent decrease in systolic blood pressure. It also helps blood flow, which is why Dr Ordon called “nature’s blue pill.”
