The Drs: Build A Healthy Meal
The Doctors had celebrity dietitian and nutritionist Cynthia Sass on their show to share her tips to help you slim down. She explained the need for a complete meal which includes a lean protein, vegetables, plant-based fats, and an “accessory” such as fruits, whole grains, starchy vegetables, or pulses which are beans, peas, and lentils. She shared her California Omelet recipe, a complete meal that makes a great breakfast, and then moved on to share her broccoli cashew chicken stir-fry recipe that would make a great lunch or dinner.

Cynthia suggested using broccoli in the recipe, but said you can really use whatever vegetables you like if broccoli isn’t your think or you just want to add more. Dr Travis Stork said healthy food doesn’t have to be boring.
