The Doctors TV Show was focused on the topic of Fix It or Live With It to help us decide whether we should fix various problems and just live with it as it is. One of the products shown on The Drs TV Show today was something called Alanna’s Pain-Free Bandage Remover, which was created by 2nd grader Alanna.
The Drs: Pain-Free Bandage Remover
Nobody likes getting a boo-boo, but when we get them and put a bandaid on, the worst part is taking off the bandaid – ouch! So, 2nd grader Alanna came up with an Organic Pain-Free Band-Aid Remover made up of coconut oil, lavender oil, and apricot oil. Dr Jim Sears tested it out by putting two band-aids onto his hairy arm. The first one was ripped off without any product, and it hurt (of course!). The second band-aid Dr Jim applied Alanna’s Pain-Free Bandage Remover to, and he said it did not hurt at all. Dr Jim Sears said that you are supposed to use a lot of the solution and apply it with a cotton ball. It also works better apparently if you get the bandage started a little and can put the oils underneath. I searched online to see where to buy the Pain-Free Bandage Remover, but I could not find anything about it. The truth is that you could probably just apply some Organic Jojoba Oil
and have the same results. Or you can do what I did when I was a kid, which was to wear the band-aid into the shower because once it gets all wet it just slides off without any pain.

The Doctors got the eight-year-old Alanna on the telephone to talk to her about the Pain-Free Bandage Remover. Dr Jim Sears told her that he loved the product. Alanna said that she always wanted to be a doctor ever since she was little. She also read a little bit of a commercial for her product which said that the Pain-Free Bandage Remover is made of organic oils and is an environmentally friendly product.
