The Doctors June 17, 2014
The Doctors have a great episode June 17, 2014, with hip hop legend Rev Run coming by to talk about a deadly disease and discussions about new anti-aging research and how tattooing is helping to conceal the appearance of scars.

The Doctors will answer a number of health-related question on the show June 17, 2014, including the risks posed by a deadly new disease and new revelations in the field of anti-aging technologies. (Tish1 / Shutterstock.com)
The Doctors: Tattoos Covering Scars
The Doctors will talk to a woman who was horribly burned on her body and across half of her face who is taking her reconstruction surgery into her own hands. Because of the nature of her injuries, reconstructive surgery would not work in her case. Fed up with doctors, the woman has decided to do something herself about the scars: she’s getting tattoos to cover them, including the ones on her face.
The Doctors: Rev Run Deadly Disease
Legendary hip hop star Rev Run, also known as DJ Run, is one of the founding members Run-D.M.C. He’s also a practicing minister in the Pentecostal faith. Now, Rev Run is swinging by The Doctors June 17, 2014 to talk about a new deadly disease that’s affecting 25 million Americans. What is this disease? How can we stop it? And most importantly, what do you need to know? Tune in to find out!
The Doctors: Fountain of Youth?
The Doctors will also discuss new revelations in anti-aging research that could point to very exciting developments in the future. The Doctors are advertising it as the “Fountain of Youth.” I’m not clear on if that’s just a turn of phrase or if that’s also the name of the new product. We’ll have to tune in to see.
The Doctors: Organ Donor Denied Because Of Orientation
The Doctors also teased a story where an organ donor tried to donate his organs to someone, but the person refused him. Why? Because the organ donor was gay. Considering the length of waiting lists in this modern era, in my opinion, that’s incredibly ridiculous. It wasn’t clear which organs the man was trying to donate. But it seems to me that if you need a kidney and someone offers you one, you should take it.
