The Doctors: Can Sugar Make Your Skin Look Older?
The star said that sugar has been a struggle for her. In her 20s, she used to get so annoyed with people who said sugar wasn’t good for you. She soon realized that sugar was like her drug – she ate it for a pick me up, she ate it when she was depressed and she also ate it when she was happy.
Over time, she has almost completely cut sugar out of her diet. Dr. Ordon said that sugar has the ability to age your skin by changing your collagen bundles and the way elastin is produced. Tyler said she didn’t even know that, and just cut it out because of they way it made her feel.
