The Doctors introduced a couple who refused to have a single photo taken at their wedding because they were so ashamed of their smiles. Brad has a lot of missing teeth missing in the back on both sides, and when they got married, they didn’t want to have to smile to show their teeth. Almost all of the photos that Mariane has of Brad show him holding his hand up in front of his face. She spent most of her life with her hand up over her mouth, because she’s missing a lot of teeth as well.

The Doctors sent Mariane and Brad to see Dr Bill Dorfman to find out if there was any hope for them. Mariane said she stopped going to the dentist about 12 years ago. Dr Dorfman explained that she doesn’t have enough bone for implants, so if they wanted to put implants in, they would have to add bone.

Dr Dorfman then looked at Brad who also didn’t have bone for implants and also had decay on his bridge, and needed a root canal. Dr Dorfman then explained that Mariane needs an upper and lower partial as well as new front teeth. Brad needs upper back teeth and a new bridge.

Dr Dorfman surprised the two of them with a message saying that he could fix them, giving them beautiful smiles. He also wanted to see them renew their vows and have huge smiles in the pictures. He offered his services to the both of them for free, but they had to renew their vows, take pictures, and come back and show them to The Doctors. Mariane was brought to tears and was so incredibly thankful to The Doctors.
