The Doctors: Laser Therapy For Cellulite
There’s a new procedure out there for getting rid of cellulite. As swimsuit season rapidly approaches, this is a very good thing to know about. Dr. Thomas Barnes opened up about the new technology as he demonstrated its use on his patient Brenda. The procedure uses green light to penetrate into the skin to melt fat and treat the skin. It works either to slim down your thighs and hips, or it can just treat the cellulite. It looks like a laser light show on the skin. Treatments take about 15 minutes and the amount of treatments needed depend on how much cellulite you have and what you’d like done.
The Doctors: Spright Cosmetics Review for the Gym
A woman sent in a question to The Doctors to ask about what kind of makeup she can wear at the gym so that it doesn’t clog her pores or sweat off. “I like a little bit of makeup. It helps give me confidence and motivates me to work a little harder at the gym,” the woman said.
There’s a line of makeup specially made to wear at the gym called Spright Cosmetics. Dr. Jennifer Ashton said she felt like this line was made just for her. It’s eyeliner and concealer that’s melt-free. Dr. Jennifer Ashton is a workout enthusiast who is really happy about this makeup line.
The Doctors: Icybag Review
Have you ever left your makeup in the car when you go into the gym and come back to find your lipstick all melted? You might want to consider an Icybag insulated cosmetic bag, which you just put in the freezer until you need to use it and it keeps all your makeup cool, even when it’s left in a hot car. Dr. Travis said he thought it might be able to fit one beer, too, so it might be good for that as well.
The Doctors: Do Contacts Lenses Melt?
One woman asked The Doctors about her contact lenses. When she works up a real sweat outside in the California heat, her eyes get irritated. Is it possible for contact lenses to melt? “I sure hope not,” Dr. Travis said. Then he clarified that contact lenses don’t melt, but he wanted to discuss what that feeling is.
He said that if you wear contact lenses, you should make sure to wear eye protection in the sunlight. Dr. Ordon added that more people have dry eyes than realize it and that can really exacerbate the situation. Make sure to carry eye drops with you as well. Dr. Jim Sears urged people not to just wash their eyes out with just anything because that’s a good way to get an infection. Make sure they’re specially designated eye drops.
