The Doctors: Red Carpet Home Remedies
Celebrities always look great on the red carpet, and that’s because they can afford to, right? The Doctors said that sometimes even A-listers like to save money by coming up with their own beauty home remedies. Try a Beer + Honey Home Treatment or a Honey & Cinnamon Acne Remedy.
The Drs TV: Beer + Honey Hair Treatment & Champagne Hair Rinse
Nicole Kidman and Catherine Zeta-Jones both have beautiful hair, but is that a high-end salon look or something you can replicate in your own home? According to reports, Zeta-Jones coats her hair in a honey and beer treatment, while Kidman uses champagne for her locks. Which of these remedies might work better for you?
Dr Rachael Ross said that both of these hair treatments had some merit. Hops in beer contains protein, as well as B vitamins, which can coat and seal the hair, making it shiny. Honey will also seal in moisture for thicker hair.
“This is a very cheap way to get an in-salon look at home,” Ross said. Dr Travis Stork recommended an India Pale Ale for a higher concentration of hops in the beer.
As for champagne, carbon dioxide will work on your hair as a clarifying agent. When mixed with warm water, it could be a cheaper alternative to expensive salon products.
The Doctors: Honey + Cinnamon Acne Remedy

The Doctors shared celebrity beauty secrets including a Beer + Honey hair treatment for volume, a champagne rinse, and a Cinnamon Honey acne remedy.
Home remedy expert Kym Douglas was backstage with Dr Andrew Ordon and Dr Ian Smith, who was playing a patient for this segment.
“I never go to the pharmacy. I go to the cupboard,” Douglas said.
She said you can mix honey and cinnamon into a paste. Apply it to any acne spots on the skin. Cinnamon is anti-inflammatory and honey is a natural humectant, which will moisturize you.
The Drs TV: Oatmeal Remedy for Itchy Scalp
Do you suffer from dandruff or an itchy scalp? Mix some water with oatmeal into a thick paste. Apply it to a dry scalp for soothing relief for dry skin. Dr Ian Smith did not have much hair to work with, but his bald head probably felt relief with the oatmeal scrub.
Will you be trying one of these natural beauty remedies?
